BTW who's up for helping me out, think my mechanic has bottled it, last I heard down the phone was ohhh I'm taking the kids away for a few days and that was 2 weeks ago lol

That would be great and I would be eternally greatful as I'm in a catch 22 situation, can't afford to fix her till I start work (well I can but would be stupidly poor, not good with kids   ) but can't work without a car   

My mechanics good, he was gonna let me pay him once I'd started work, but I think he finds my car scary as he hasn't touched one for years and doesn't want to stuff it up lol.

Blew the head gasket, hasn't gone to bad as it took me a week to relise what was up lol was at the end of July, I thought she was playing up cos it was so hot and the fans weren't working, but the water loss made me look a bit further.

Funny how it happened a month after she had a service, just like my last one 

Incidently she passed her MOT with one advisary, brake pipes are starting to go, so better get that done sooner rather than later especially as she is going to be spending more time on the road than off it.
