« on: December 31, 2010, 10:52:07 AM »

Picked this up yesterday

Needs a fan to be fitted sometime bloody soon, come across traffic a few times on the way back home yesterday and it didn't feel comfortable knowing i had no fan Shocked

The Top Gear style drive home continued with the failure of the speedo 59.7miles into the 260 odd mile journey home, but she flew, no problems at all, showed a few model things what speed is Grin bye bye mr BMW 5 series driver, dont flash them fooking headlamps at me ya twat  Cheesy Cheesy

No radio meant a flat iPhone by the time i got home so today i thought i better put a radio in it

Wants a few things like the front door cards glueing back in place as they've peeled at the tops, the dash top is a mk2 item and is badly warped so that will need replacing too as with the front pillar trims, a good clean and polish and a service and should be good

Looks tidy that one . Pretty much original as well and optional ABS.     You'll love all the wiring thats just above your feet for the ABS. Grin

It certainly seems more solid than i had anticipated, minimal tidying i think should do the trick

na the pegs came off alright, although the door card hasn't come out how i wanted it too. Have been out working on it today, and have actually taken some pictures of it whilst it's not outside my house

heres the reason it's been sat outside the house for so long

no wonder it had trouble holding onto it's coolant. Have fitted the fan, and a new rad, fixed the speedo, drives like a dream :DD
