June 5th 2011

I'm going to this and camping the sat night. Much better than FordFair. Also on the sat (last year anyway) I think was £20? but basically from midday to 5pm anything you had there you could run up the pod in it. Go round and run again, unlimited times.

Prices now are £14 in advance and £7 to camp.

Would be a good thing if a few of us camped. BBQ, beer n old fords. Don't worry about going in your plastic rep mobiles, i went in the mk6 rs2k last year, they dont mind newer classics.

Would it be worth me enquiring about a PBF stand there? Would enough of us go?

Interesting that. I fancy a RWYB at the pod but not in my old XR. Prob take the Zetec S.

I'd have to decide nearer the time though 'cos my wife may be losing her job. Provisionally though I'd like to go with the family. We could camp too. Sounds fun.

Right Folks as there is no interest in this some of us are going on the Saturday and camping in the family area over night, if you want to join us then sort your own tickets out, there will be no PBF stand at this one.

We'll be going to this one as long as the weather is good, so we will decide a day or two before. No point racing in the wet, or camping in the wet methinks. p.s. wife kept her job luckily.

My mechanic just passed my XR its MOT, and said he's bringing his red 450hp Mk2 2 litre Cosworth Escort. It does 10.5secs @ 131mph.  Shocked
