Had a great day out with the capri lot today. Reasoning for this, yonks ago Ford advertised the capri using a Lancaster bomber as a backdrop. Now there is an annual pilgrimage to it for group shots et. RetroFord magazine were there and mine even got pulled to one side for some individual pics, so may even make the magazine! Think about 70/80 turned up for this.

Few pics;

Unfortunately, my pics dont do it justice. I took them quite early before most turned up. They put everyone into a Lancaster formation too, but I never got that pic. Will be in the mag though I guess. Apparently there will be 8 pages devoted to it.

Nice one wing commander Tango  Grin

You've GOT to keep it that colour scheme now surely. In fact you could use it to advertise 'CarBodyWorks' even rather than that Merc. Kinda funny - mind you, you may not get many phone calls LOL.

LOL, that's Taps' job to knock Alan's car...

But he may be on to something here keeping it looking the way it does and saying that is how people remember them. Beaulieu motor museum has an Anglia with a rust hole on the front wing. They say this was typical of the mark, therefore they are not repairing it.

And I've gone and fixed my cracked dash  Shocked
