Yeah, look after it. I've just bought a fully working one for £132, so this one is for sale now. It did ok for a year and I was planning to get it fixed one day.

I then was going to put the old radio only one in YNO 910X (the XR you saw at Dux) but I need the cash really. If it doesn't sell I might though.

Ha, yeah well shortly after that I got a real one, and that's what is in it now. I was being inventive, or cheap, depending on how you look at it.  Grin

to be fair, your efforts were outstanding, from a qucik glance through the window you'd never have noticed, it's probably only the fact that you told us about it and were a bunch of piss taking bastards lol

Yeah, and that's why I like you all. Its a club full of fun, not clicky club types saying why your tyres don't have the correct tread pattern etc.

Well YNO has Pirellis but 600's at the front and 6000s at the rear. They should really be P6s from that period. But I drive it and wouldn't trust 25 year old tyres.

But LYP has tyres dating from the eighties on it - I made its second set duplicate its first. It came with (unusually) Uniroyals as it was a special delivery form Fords to a journalist. Normal fitment was Pirellis, Dunlops and one other make - Good Years (I think). Fine as I don't drive this one, and it is stored on stands.

It gets on my nerves when you're enjoying a day out and some twat complains that your car has the wrong tread pattern on it. It depends how they say it. If they are just trying to impart knowledge to make your car even better then that is absolutely fine but when it is a case of 'mine is better than yours' then that is when I won't stay in a club long. Also if their members vote for each others cars in a concourse event. Too clicky. Know what I mean?

PBF just have a laugh, enjoy each others cars no matter what they turn up with. And we can all take a joke. I think I may have to make some cardboard P6s for the next show...

Cardboard wives sounds good as long as they are fitted with silicone super-woofers.  Grin
