Well, it's about time I put a few pics up. The 24v conversion is back underway. I've had this capri 2 years now and all I've done is push it around lol.

Some of you may remember how it started

Bit of prep

Had a blue engine bay as I was going to do it blue, but i've changed my mind and as i was going to cut a load out it made sense to do now.

Nice white to start

Cut the stuff I don't want

Add a little colour! lol

Time to relieve the Granada of its heart

How the Granada loom started life

The stuff I didn’t need;

Finished loom – thanks to Rob and Grimbo

Engine and box with new clutch ready to go

Didn’t wanna scratch new paint, so instead of dropping the engine in, I dropped the car onto it! Lol

home made exhausts

Nice shiny rad n fans

And happy days

There you go, up to date so far
All running and good. Just need to sort the brakes and put interior back, then mot.

More today.

Rear disks on. Bonnet on. doors on. Propshaft on. Axle location thingy on.

Drivable now. but no fluid in brake system yet. And handbrake needs another bracket welding in so I can adjust it. And for the eagle eyed. Yes I still need to bolt the wings to the front valance and that will sort the gaps out.

Have a good Chrismas, mor updates after. I'm off to get drunk Smiley

Only one more year and she will be, spot on, plus you havent seen my cupboard of goodies, half of it is the stuff you have given me over the years and now thanks to the chavy it's all getting fitted cos the kids won't be going near her apart from the shows I have to bring them with.

She might have more new metal than most sierras now, but that just means she'll last longer, well thats the theroy  laugh
