Just searching around as mine is up in about a week and it always annoys me how they take the piss by sending the renewal letter out later and later each year! Roll Eyes
Anyone know of a reliable insurance company that don't take the piss on price & service?
Don't laugh all at once lol Grin

Merry New Year for 2012...

The FootmanJames get quote link not working for me at least right now but the PeterBest has a couple of restrictions that would be a problem for me.

Vehicle is used for Social, Domestic & Pleasure use only including commuting to and from one fixed place of work.
Cars must be garaged or parked on the drive – street parking is not permitted.
You must have access to another car for everyday use.

A tad restrictive for me Sad so I'm still looking...
Thanx

Thanx again for the feedback. I used the keep the insurance on the fone tactic as long as possible and got £30 off. Then kept em on fone another 10 mins telling em off about sending late reminders and such and got another £20 off lol
So in the end I'm paying about a £12 less in total than last year, so I'm done and dusted for another year unless I find something a lot cheaper Cheesy
Cheers...

My Fiesta got written off in November in a crash on the 9th. I am insured with Aviva and they were really friendly and helpful, arranged everything efficiantly, and had the car looked at, written off, and a cheque in my hands by the 17th Nov - just 8 days. They also gave a me a courtesy car even though I hadn't paid cover for that as it was the other vehicles fault, and that was delivered to my door. Faultless service. They are not the cheapest though. And my Fiesta was not a classic car.

For my classic XR3 I was with Flux, now with Heritage. I have claimed in the past with Flux and they were good. Don't know about Heritage. But last year Flux wanted £210. So I shopped around and Heritage said £106. So I phoned Flux up to chat to them. They said they could now do it for £105, so I asked them why they asked for £210 then, and promptly took my business to Heritage. Probably next time the situation will reverse - they all try it on, as you know.
