Here's my P100 project Just fanced a retro rocket Roll Eyes Cos i'm stupid !! Tongue
Bought this of Ebay  Roll Eyes Well it just managed to pull it's sorry self the 40 miles home, blowup about 20 miles into the journey, but didn't want a smelly old diesel any way Grin and you can see the donor "Scorpio ultima estate 24v in the bottom right of this pic" laugh
It's not as streight as it look but not a bad base truck for a project,

Front and rear axles, struts, engine & gearbox, seat, dash, wheels,
will all be replaced by the Scorpio Cosworth 24v Cos i'm tight Wink
A moden well equipted truck  Cool
cruse control,
heated memory seats,
sports mode,
snow mode,
economy mode,
auto drop mirrors,
power steering,
Limited slip diff,
157 miles per hour, Grin Grin Evil

Getting the P100 stripped out read for some raw power  Evil Evil

Nice blank canvas  Grin Time to start squeezing that meaty 24v beast in there


Got some twin headlight surrounds today  Sneek Peek Cry  But there not a very good fit  Roll Eyes more tweeking


Scorpio Cosworth cross member trimmed and test fitted without engine,
Gona use the old antiroll bar fixing points to secure the back edge of the cross member


First test fitting of Engine & Box WoW thats snug Cheesy

Time to change that front Susspension & Brakes

Cut out the sierra Strut tops and test fitted the scorpio strut tops



Both Strut top in place now  Tongue time to set them up and weld them in  Wink


And now I find out there's a shortage of acetylene, Thankfully a friend managed to saurce some,
I like gas welding  Smiley also repaired the front cross member ! think i mite move that towing eye,

Test fitting No2 With Scorpio Steering & Susspension

Strut tops welded in, Engine & Box, Scorpio cross member, Struts & Hubs, Disks & Brakes,
ABS, Antirolbar, Power steering,
This also increased the track width and some 18" Fox alloys that need a little work but looking Cool


Got an off side front wing the other day also got a pair of Capri MK3 twin headlights for thoe's
crappy fitting headlight surrounds  Tongue

The bonnet don't close  Roll Eyes Needs a hump in it  Undecided  Hum feel a Power Bulge coming on Grin

Time to start on the rear end  Grin

Turned the truck round now Smiley
The tub and tank are OFF, The old axle and springs are gone, cut the front spring hangers off,


The new independent rear from the scorpio is supported on wooden chocks,
the truck is close to finnish ride height, lots of cutting and welding ahead Wink


Need to decide the color next  Roll Eyes what color to go for ? RED Evil ? PURPUL  Undecided
