Cheers for the welcomes.
I post on several other forums as Dickspanner and full details of the conversion is on the 80 90 forum.
Couple of pics to show the ongoing conversion.

Engine sat on stillage, connected to VW gearbox by KEP adaptor plate ready for going into crewcab

Engine installed in Crewcab, exhausts fabricated on fitted, decided to run the exhausts down towards front of crewwy then turn them outwards and have side blowers.

Hole cut in top of original VW fuel tank, swirl pot from RS installed in tank and cosworth fuel pump installed. Decided this was easier than twin pump and swirl pot route.

Cosworth MAF modified and filter adaptor made, it appears to work at the moment, but still have not fired engine up, so not sure how it works.

Current state of crewcab.

Engine installed, plumbing to do

The latest picture I took of the engine install, it has progressed a little since this, but still a way off.
Modifying the wiring harness has been a complete nightmare and I have ended up with a wheelbarrow of spare wires we have cut out of the harness. Loads of niggly bits to do now. Really miffed off as made a full bracket to allow me to use the accelerator cable, then snapped the end off the cable, keep mailing people who are breaking them on ebay etc but they generally dont answer. Dam rude if you ask me.

Still got to do some big work on the thing but hoping to get it finished soon and on the road, as I want to drive it to the south of France in July.
Purchase a second hand LPG kit as well, but it is fitted on BOB manifolds, I have been informed with an adaptor plate I can stick these on to help with the installation, but that is another story and thread.
Will no doubt be making a fool of myself plenty of times by asking stupid questions, but hey hoe that the way I go.
Cheers again for wlecome
